Yes We Can...

I don't know if you all have seen this, but I think it's a beautiful representation of what we can have if we exercise our right to vote today. If you don't, I hope you understand that you'll carry the burden of the fate of this nation for the next four years...at least.

Sit back and listen to an amazing man -- eloquent, passionate, and ready to work for us.

I want change.

  1. Greetings, Kate! I'm heading to Tanzania in June as an environmental education/sustainable agriculture PC volunteer. I've so enjoyed reading your blog posts from TZ (and congrats on your new life here in the States!)

I'm wondering if you could put me in contact with any current/former female volunteers in agriculture in TZ? I have some specific questions I'd like to ask ... especially the truth on women wearing pants/jeans and whether I need to pack work boots.

I'm also wondering about premailing packages to myself. How does the in-country staff feel about that?

Thanks for writing during your service. It's helpful and inspiring!
